Motor milestones

Red flags — when to see the paediatrician?

  • No steps with support
  • No single meaningful word
  • Does not point at objects
  • No eye contact in interaction

Activity ideas

  • Push toys for walking practice
  • Small balls for rolling
  • Name pictures in books together
  • Simple imitation games (phoning, brushing)

Common concerns and tips

Many babies stand and take their first few steps. If your baby is still crawling with no signs of standing — also fine. U6 check-up from 10 months on.
