2. Account & Usage

• You are responsible for keeping your account secure.
• One account per person is permitted.
• You may ask questions, write answers, and post content in anonymous mode.
• We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.

3. AI Disclaimer – Not Medical Advice

• Our AI advisor is powered by Claude from Anthropic and provides general information only.
• Answers are not a substitute for seeing a doctor or consulting a professional.
• For health concerns or emergencies, always contact your doctor, midwife, or emergency services.
• We accept no liability for decisions made based on AI-generated answers.

4. Community Guidelines

ask mamis is a safe space for mothers and mothers-to-be. The following rules apply:

• No mom-shaming:Every mother does it her own way. We do not tolerate judgement, belittling, or shaming of other mothers – directly or indirectly.
• Be respectful: Constructive feedback is welcome; personal attacks are not.
• No advertising or spam: Unauthorised commercial content will be removed.
• No misinformation: Medically disproven or dangerous advice will be removed.
• Protect privacy:Do not share other users' personal information.

Violations may result in a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent account deletion.

5. Intellectual Property

• Content you post remains your intellectual property. However, you grant ask mamis a simple, royalty-free licence to display and distribute your content on the Platform.
• The ask mamis brand, design, and code are protected by copyright.
• AI-generated answers are not subject to copyright and may be used freely.

6. Limitation of Liability

• ask mamis provides the Platform "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
• We are not liable for content created by users or the AI.
• ask mamis's liability is limited to cases of intent and gross negligence.
• We accept no liability for damages resulting from following AI answers or user posts.

7. Subscription & Payments

• Basic use of ask mamis is free of charge.
• Premium features can be unlocked via a paid subscription.
• Prices are shown transparently before purchase. All prices include applicable VAT.
• Billing occurs monthly or annually, depending on the chosen plan.

8. Cancellation

• You can delete your free account at any time in your settings.
• Premium subscriptions can be cancelled at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.
• After cancellation, your anonymous posts remain on the Platform. Non-anonymous posts will be deleted upon request.
• We reserve the right to terminate accounts immediately for serious violations.

9. Data Processing

10. Final Provisions

• These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
