12 hours. Some children refuse afternoon nap — don't fight it, offer quiet rest time. Evening routine: bath, teeth brushing, story, cuddle, lights out.

Child can 'help cook' simple meals (stir batter, wash vegetables). This increases acceptance of new foods. Eat together at the table without distractions (no screens).

Role play (doctor, hairdresser, shopping), simple craft projects (gluing, stickers), riding tricycle, feeding animals in park, storybooks.

• Encourage independence: support 'do it myself!' where safe
• Patience with dressing — it takes time but they learn
• Parallel play is normal — true cooperative play starts around 3
• At least 20 minutes of focused 1:1 time daily
